Job Title: Manager_Security Centre

Job Location: Chennai Plant

Experience Range: 4-10

Preferred Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech

Role Summary

The Team Member - Security Centre will be responsible for managing HMIL’s IT network and cybersecurity operations, ensuring infrastructure security, policy compliance, and coordination with HAEI for audits and performance reviews.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage Network Routing & Switching (Vlan, ACL, Port Security, etc.).
• Security tools like Firewall, VPN, WAF, NAC, DDoS protection, IPS and IDS to safeguard against network and traffic from external threats.
• Responsible for safeguarding an organizations entire IT Security & infrastructure, including endpoint devices, network, Application & Database.
• Policy Review and Update: Regularly review and update existing policies to ensure they remain current and effective, aligning with industry standards and organizational needs.
• Develop and maintain playbooks for responding to common types of cybersecurity incidents (N/W attack, phishing, DDoS attacks, data leakage).
• Oversee the security operations & IT Network & Security managed by HAEI. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope & budget.
• Conduct and monitor regular Key performance reviews and assessments by reviewing weekly and monthly meetings with HAEI to improve their work quality.
• Conduct Network Audit within the HMI and coordination with internal & HQ Audits.

Success in this role means ensuring HMIL’s IT infrastructure is secure, resilient, and compliant, with proactive threat mitigation, effective policy implementation, and seamless coordination with HAEI for high-quality network and security operations.
